Walter II and Linda

A Missionary Planted and Shepherded Church
Windward Bible
Church - WBC
(Independent, Fundamental, and Baptist in Tradition)
The thrust of Windward Bible Church is to
"...make
disciples" (John 28:19-20) and "... make Fishers of
Men"
(Matthew 4:19) on the island of Carriacou, Grenada.
About the Robinsons
Missions Statement:
To
fulfill the commandment of the Lord Jesus Christ:
19Go
ye therefore, and teach
all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of
the Holy Ghost: 20Teaching
them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with
you alway, even
unto the end of the world. Amen. (Matthew 28:19-20)
It is our belief that simply teaching the Word of
God to prepared, open, and obedient hearts will result in the spiritual
rebirth that is necessary to enter heaven. (John 3:3) We also believe that the
Lord Jesus has commanded believers to reproduce, in the hearts of others, the
saving grace that has been made available only through faith in the person of
Jesus Christ and His finished work. Thus, it is also our goal to engage in the
ministry of helping disciples of Jesus Christ to become “...
fishers of men” (Matthew 4:9) through the ministry of prayer and
teaching the word of God. (Acts 6:4)

Brief Overview of
Windward Bible Church
The ministry of
Windward Bible Church is
multifaceted and constantly expanding. It began in July of 1992 with Bible studies held in
the Robinson's rented residence, located in
Meldrum on the island of Carriacou, Grenada.
As of August 2000 our meeting place has been located on the main street and right beside
the sea in the village of Windward (see upper right photo).

What We Believe
and More
We believe that is Biblical and important
for people to know what we believe, teach, and practice. Thus, we have
posted a clearly presented statement of our faith to let people know
exactly what we believe and practice. We have a smaller "Basic
Doctrinal Statement" as well as a larger "Detailed
Doctrinal Statement" available.
We also have pages that present must more about WBC, including
its history, photos, goals, how it is supported, and even prayer letters and
updates on the Robinsons.

that section that supplies links to each page.
What You Can Expect From The
Robinsons on Furlough if You Request or Allow Them to Come to Your Church
-
We will never attempt to get or accept
meetings at churches that are not independent, fundamental, nondenominational, or
ecumenical.
-
Though our church is called a Bible Church, we are
independent Baptist by tradition, organization, operation, and style. Walter
is an ordained independent Baptist minister of the Gospel.
-
We will always honor the requests made by the pastor
on all matters including time allotted to present our ministry. If we
believe the time allotment is too small for what we are being asked or allowed
to do, we will discuss it with the pastor (s) ahead of time.
-
We will endeavor to serve in any capacity requested,
with submission under the oversight of the pastor (s).
-
We are conservative and traditional in our worship
style.
-
We will dress conservatively.
-
We will seek to promote the missionary work of Windward Bible
Church
-
If the pastor deems it to be appropriate, and if time allows,
we would also like to promote the missionary ministry of Last Chance
Ministries and all associated websites.
www.LastChanceMinistries.com (also .org and .net),
www.WindwardBibleChurch.org, and
www.Carriacou.info
-
Walter has special training, learning, experience, and expertise in
confronting and exposing the errors of the following:
-
If requested, we can provide information and
expertise to churches that may wish to expand their ministry to the world via
the World Wide Web, or the Internet.
-
If requested, we could provide information and freely
available tools on how believers can make use of the internet without becoming victims
of it.
-
We will ask those in your congregation to become prayer
partners with us, but we will never ask for money. We leave that completely in
the Lord's hands.
