Stretching Christianity
This section of LCM presents information that seeks to show that Biblical
Christianity is as immutable as it foundation, which is the Word of God. (Psalm
119:89, Matthew 7:24-25)
There are legions of denominations, cults, sects, and schisms that claim to
be 'Christian.' The non-Christian world also has a multitude of divergent ideas
on just what 'Christianity' is all about or what it should be.
Many -- Christian and non-Christian alike--insist that Christianity must
remain progressive in its interpretation to remain viable and effective as a
religious source for a modern society and culture. As a consequence, much that
is being said today has very little to nothing to do with biblical truth. Some
purposefully chose to reinterpret the Scripture in a way that fits with their
lifestyle. Others have merely accepted what they have heard without taking a
look at the Bible for themselves.
For those that desire to know what the Bible teaches in contrast to what they
have merely heard, I have setup this section of LCM.
