How The Robinsons
Are Supported As Independent Missionaries
Our policy concerning our support as Missionaries is succinctly expressed in
the following Biblical passages:
38Give, and it shall be given unto
you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give
into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you
again. (Luke 6:38)
13Do ye not know that they which
minister about holy things live of the things of the temple? and they which wait at
the altar are partakers with the altar? 14Even so hath the Lord
ordained that they which preach the gospel should live of the gospel. (1
Corinthians 9:12)
19 But my God shall supply all your need
according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19)
38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man
draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. (Hebrews 10:38)
Our Need for Daily Prayer Support
First and foremost, we desire the consistent and faithful prayers of
believers every day for us. From 1970 until now, I have worked many different
jobs during my career. None have been more challenging as working as a
missionary pastor and church planter. This includes working as the service
manager for a multimillion dollar business machine company, to serving as the
chief of a volunteer fire department in hazardous location!

Since we committed to serving the Lord as missionaries, we have personally
experienced a spiritual opposition that was previously unknown, except for what
we had read in the Bible itself. The opposition and outright attacks have come
in many forms. When we ventured into reaching out to the world with the gospel
and biblical teaching through this web based ministry, LCM, the opposition and
attacks only intensified.
It is only by God's marvelous grace that we have been able to remain at our
posts of responsibility. I believe most would understand if they took the time
to read through our past prayer letters posted on the "The
Robinsons' Heralds and Periodic Updates" page available
here. I am convinced that our protection and provision,
and everything else has been accomplished through the prayers of many on our
behalf around the world.
When someone says, "all I can do is pray," they often seem to fail to
understand that praying is often the most effective and powerful
thing that anyone can do! Thus, we enlist the prayers of all of like faith and
practice to become part of our ministries by speaking to the Lord on our behalf
daily.
For those interested, we try to maintain an ongoing list of our current needs
here on "Prayer Requests
for the Robinsons" page of our website. Click

The Need for Financial and
Material Support
As is the case with most independent missionaries, the Robinsons live by faith.
Thus, we are supported by free will offerings, gifts, and monthly contributions from
independent churches, individuals, and families that hold to a common faith as expressed
in the section that presents our doctrinal beliefs and practices.
In addition to financial support, there are times that people donate needed
equipment or services instead. For example, this web ministry is a direct result
of various ones donating gifts such as; computers, software, and even our first
web server.
To get permission to live and work on our foreign field we have been blessed to
obtain an "exemption from work permit." We are allowed to
remain on our field as long as we continue to work as missionaries and do not engage in
any gainful employment or activity that would take jobs or income from the citizens.
We do not make pleas or solicitations for finances or any other needs by
mailings, phone calls, or through LCM's (Last Chance Ministries') website. We make our
needs known in three other ways.
- First, we state our needs to the God of heaven who
promises to supply all our needs according to our riches in glory. (Philippians 4:19)
- Second, we state our needs on LCM's website in our Prayer Requests section.
- Lastly, we state our needs in mass emailings or regular
mailings to those who support us, and also to those who have specifically requested that
we place them on our regular mailing list. Most of this mass emailings are also posted on
LCM in the section entitled Prayer Letters.
Any needs are shared in hopes that others will join with us in praying for those
needs to be met in God's perfect manner and timing. Again, no pleas are made, the needs
are simply stated.
For reasons that most will readily understand, we will not post our needed and
current support levels in dollar amounts on LCM or mass emailings. However, we do supply
our levels in percentages in our Prayer Requests section that is entitled Support Needs for the Robinsons.
Any sincerely interested in possibly becoming part of the Robinsons' support
family may contact us directly or contact our mission board for specific dollar amounts
for any needs mentioned, including our monthly support level. We may be contacted by using

How to Help Support
Us, if You Wish
If you desire to help us with our missionary work, or with the cost of
maintaining LCM, you may make a tax deductible gift to our mission board listed
above via check, cash (not recommended unless delivered in person), or money
order. Donations given through our mission board will automatically generate a
receipt so that you can receive a reduction off your taxes.
On the other hand, if you desire to simply provide a gift to help us in any way,
and you do not plan to claim it to get a reduction in your taxes, you may use either of the two
following buttons to make a donation via
PayPal. These are
considered as personal gifts to us.
NOTE: If you prefer to make an immediate donation using
the following buttons, and would also like to have a receipt so you can get a
tax deduction, you may do so. However, you must state in your donation
note that you desire a receipt for tax purposes.
Making a donation this way is immediate, secure, and safe using SSL Strong
Encryption (128bit).
In any case, each donor will receive a personal note of thanks from us,
unless they stipulate they do not want one. Thanks ahead of time!
Lastly, if you desire to receive e·mail
notifications about additions or changes to any part of LCM you may send an
e·mail to the
webmaster stating your wish.
Spammers beware! Don't wast your time by putting us on
your list. I assure you, your unsolicited mail will never reach any of us. We
will never see it or read it. It will be bounced back to you with prejudice! By
that I mean, once you get bounced and blacklisted, you will not even be able to
send us a valid e·mail if you so desire. In addition, your e·mail address and
internet provider's domain and IP address will be reported to various spam
databases that will enable millions to automatically block your spam.
