CommentsWe at Faith Bible in Williamstown prayed for your protection in the face of Hurricane Emily. I pray that all is well with you and that you and the brethren will have a strong testimony for Christ and effectual ministry during the post-storm recovery.
Dear Brother Scott,
Thanks for leaving your encouraging note in the
"Visitor's Journal" section of my website. I truly appreciated it, and it served
as a note of encouragement to us. Thanks very much for leaving your gracious
comment.
I hope to get your comments and other posted on my
website in the days ahead. I formerly had it set up to post comments as soon as
they were submitted, but too many unscrupulous spammers were trying to use it to
post links to other websites that features all manner of topics and materials
with which I did not want to be associated. Thus, I set it us to allow me to
screen each comment first before posting them. I hope you understand and thanks
for your patience.
All the best as I continue to look up
for Him,
Walter Robinson II

U.K.Date: 28 Dec 2004Time: 13:01:24CommentsWe found your site whilst checking on how our
favorite island fared during the latest hurricane. Thank you for taking the time to keep this site updated, informational and inspirational. On our last trip to Carriacou we decided that out of all the islands we had visited, this little bit of paradise was where we would most like to live. We haven't changed our minds , and will be returning in a few weeks to
reacquaint ourselves with the friendliest folks and the most beautiful smiles in the Caribbean. We also hope to find out what we might give back to a community in return for the pleasure of living within it.
Thank you for your dedication.
J. Thanks for visiting LCM, Jennifer! It is
encouraging to get entries such as yours. I am very happy to hear that you all
are thinking of living here on our lovely island home. There is always
something someone can do to help improve things here, and I am glad to hear
that you wish to "give back" something to this place that continues to get
better yearly. When you return please look us up. We would like to meet you in
person. All the

Often wondered, and no one on the internet can answer this so far. Could Jesus create a
burrito so hot, that even he couldn't eat it?
Thanks for visiting LCM, John. Though you could be just
joshing, I am going to attempt to answer your question in seriousness.
You question reminds me of another one
that people often ask, "Can God create a rock so heavy that He cannot lift
it?" This may surprise you, but
the Bible states that there are indeed some things that God cannot do. For
example, He cannot lie nor fail to fulfill a promise (Titus 1:2), nor can He
deny Himself (2 Timothy 2:13). James 1:13 also states that God cannot be tempted
with evil. Daniel 9:14 also states that God is righteous, which is
another way of saying that God cannot sin. John 15:26 states that God's
Spirit is the spirit of truth, and 1 Corinthians
1:9 states that God is faithful. Thus, God cannot lie, cannot break a
promise, cannot be tempted with evil, and cannot sin. These are just a few
of His divine attributes. Obviously,
John, and like all humans, I cannot fly like a bird nor make our sun
vanish from our solar system by willing it so. I cannot do those those things
because the ability to do it is not in my nature. The reason God cannot do the
things mentioned above is not because He is not God Almighty, but because
those things are not in His nature or they are contrary to his nature.
Even though God is almighty (παντοκράτωρ
- Pantekrator [meaning all dominion, all might, all power, etc.] NT and
אֵל
שַׁדַּי - ’El Shadday
[God All Mighty] OT), He will not and cannot act contrary to His
nature. Thus, God cannot create something contrary to His nature, nor can He
create something with the intention of creating a situation that leaves Him
powerless. Yet, God can do anything He desires that is in keeping with and
according to His nature.
I hope this helps so that you can move on to more
productive things to "wonder" about. Thanks for visiting LCM and I hope you come
again. All the
best,
The Webmaster

You must be JOKING! I was searching Carriacou for a wonderful
relaxing vacation away from all the biblethumpers....Jeez...keep it to
yourself but stop bothering the world with your imaginings. J. Begood
Esq.
J. Begood Esq., surely you are the one that
must be JOKING here! I am not sure what link you used to come to my
website. However, if you had looked at it before you clicked on it, my
domain is a dead give away that you were CHOOSING to visit a website
that is spiritual in nature. Apparently you do not understand that one
sure way to avoid visiting a website that has content material you do
not like is to simply not click on a link that you know will take you
there.
Furthermore, I have never thumped my Bible
at anyone, nor have I thumped others over the head with it. I do not
wait at the airport or one of the three jetties here to look for people
like you to bother them with my "imaginings" as you put it. And as I
pointed out earlier, I did not go and find you and make you come to my
website. You came by your own volition. Nor do I send e·mails
to any one unless they specifically request it. So, how you get off
coming to my website and accuse me of "bothering the world." The only
one bother someone is you with your silly rambling and micro views of
the world according to J. Begood.
If you do wish to visit a jewel of the
Caribbean, Carriacou (what I like to refer to as Next To Heaven)
would be an excellent choice. Once you get here the chances are that not
one person will "bother" you with a Bible or the words contained within.
But, you should be made aware that most of the people that live here
profess to be Christian believers of various sorts and there are
many churches here to accommodate them. Thus,
if you want to insure that you will be free from the presence of
churches and people
that hold the Bible dear, you will likely need to visit some other place.
May I suggest Iran, Afghanistan, Somalia, or
even better, perhaps China or
North Korea. I can guarantee that you will not see any Christian
churches in the first three and no churches of any sort in the last two. It
is highly unlikely that anyone would try to "thump" you with a Christian
Bible in any of them as well.
Unlike you, even many precious people
in the above mentioned countries desire what is freely available to you, but you
obviously despise. My stats show that many from
countries such as them visit LCM often to read the
Gospel of Jesus Christ and also to
listen to Bible Teaching made available here.
You may be surprised by the tenor of my
response to you. But you deserved it.
Answer a fool
according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own conceit [literally,
'eyes']. (Proverbs 26:5)
Perhaps one day before it is too
late you too will come to realize that the message of the Bible is precious and
that God loves you -- even if you may not believe in Him or despise Him if you
do believe He exists.

importantly, I recommend that you take a good look at the information I have

I was quite shaken when I heard reports of what went on in my beautiful island
( well I should say 'islands'). I must say however that Grenadians have an
amazing inner strength, not to mention an enormous sense of humor under any
circumstance that makes them a resistant people. I just wanted to register my
encouragement and support, and to assure everyone that this is not the end of of
beloved island, and though it will take time we will rebuild as we have done at
other occasions- in fact, we will be better than ever!!!!!
Thanks for visiting LCM, Jenni. Thanks also for your
encouraging comments to the 'Kayaks' here (Kayaks are the people that call
Carriacou their home.) You seem to know the people here well as you have
described them. I agree. Carriacou is already looking much like it did before
the storm hit. Even two weeks after Ivan passed through, it is has been ready to
accept tourists and provide an experience filled with lovely memories. If you
visit in the future, please look us up. I would like to meet you in person.

I am impressed with the candor of your writing style and the subject matter
you shared concerning the conversation you had with Linda Moulton Howe. I've
often wondered about the biblical descriptions of burning bushes, wheels within
a wheel, people walking out of fierce furnace fires and the like.. I've seen
things in the sky that others would say convinces them I'm 'nuts' , and I've
had dreams after a heart attack that led me to search for the term 'coyote' and
'raven' in American Indian lore. In that same dream, I was shown a hillside
covered deep in snake skins (reincarnation concept). The kind Indian that
appeared to me told me I would be 'here for awhile and then I would be coming
back. By the way, we were in a beautiful place, and 'he', if you will, drove me
around to show me these things by instantly appearing in my truck and driving me
around to show me things like his beautiful 'home' and the snake skins. I asked
him what his name was, and he just gently laughed saying something I now don't
remember, but at that time I had the wherewithall to wake up and write it down.
The name meant trickster, doer of good and bad things, all powerful. I had just
recovered from a heart attack that should have killed me. My enzyme levels were
two points over the fatal point, or so said the RN that told me. Crows follow me
around now. I don't know why. I'll be back to your site. God bless all.
Dear Robert,
I am glad that you found LCM. Thanks for taking the
time to share your gracious comment and your personal story here in our
Visitor's Journal. Linda Howe is a down to earth and accomplished producer and
author that I consider a friend. I touch bases with her from time to time just
to see what is happening with her and her work.
Robert, before I
was born-again by faith in Jesus Christ, I was a New Ager -- though it was not
called that back then. I had some very strange experiences and read much
literature of that genre. During that time I was firmly convinced that I was on
the road to truth, and each strange experience resulted in a temporary state of
excitement and being thrilled. But, it also left me just shy of what I
desperately wanted and needed. After many years of such experiences and
searching, I finally realized my life mostly consisted of searching, and not
finding anything that would help me in the here and now.
However, after I heard and understood the
gospel for the first time at age twenty three (though I had attended many
Christian churches for most of my childhood and teenage years) I found what I
needed and what I believe I had been searching for all along. I can't explain it
but simply to say it was God's grace that accomplished this. Until that day I
was somewhere between being an atheist and agnostic and a stanch believer in
evolution and extraterrestrial life (belief in one logically necessitates belief
in the other). Yet, as a biblical believer I can truthfully say that I believe I
now understand the origin, the goal, and the 'truth,' of the philosophies of new
age thinking. Yet, I am the first to admit that no one could have convinced me
that I was on the wrong path right up until the day I embraced Jesus Christ
according to what He has said in the written record of his words as recorded in
the Bible.
It my hope and prayer that you find what
you need and the answers to your questions as to why the 'crows follow' you
around now. I hope that the information provided here on LCM will help in some
way.
All the best,
The Webmaster

Hey Mr. Robinson, How are you guys doing, how is the church recovering from
the hurricane? Well I hope everything is ok and you guys are having services
again. Just want to let you guys know that I am doing fine, been a bit busy with
work but doing ok and having fun as well so much fun that I’m writing you guys
from Long Island right now. My dad and I came down for the weekend to visit a
friend of his so we have been having a bit of fun. So what you guys had been up
to lately how is every one else doing at the church? I’ve been missing you guys
lately and praying for you all as well. Well I hate to cut it shot but I have to
go so say Hi to everyone for me and my dad. Your Friend and Brother Wesley
Greetings from Carriacou, Wesley! It is such a
pleasant surprise to see your entry in my Visitors' Journal! I saw your
mom and your brothers and sisters at Open Door Independent Baptist church this
morning and tonight. They all looked very good. It is a real
joy having them back. We missed them all very much and still miss you. We are
praying regularly for you as you seek to follow and serve the Lord as a young adult.
We are a bit weary at times, but doing okay
as we are still recovering from damages and leaks.
(Click here to see.) We have been attending services at Open Door since Ivan
hit us. We hope to be back in our meeting place in Windward in
a week and a half -- Lord Willing. I also hope to see you in a few months. Work
hard, be careful, and continue to put the Lord first, and you will never go
wrong.
All the best, Wesley!

I came across your site while researching hurricane Ivan. Been to Carriacou
and Grenada -Grenadines many time. My heart is with you all. My prayers go out
to those to find the strength. I know you will. It must have been a terrible
hardship to go through. Imagine it being so bad that the prisoners went back to
jail on their own accord. That beautiful little island didn't deserve this. I
hope that life will begin again for them all and Ivan will soon be just a bad
memory. What does not kill us makes us stronger. JC

One of the most beautiful places I have ever visited. I hope that the ravages
of Ivan have not affected the good friends I made there too much. I am un-able

Thanks for visiting LCM, Mac. Even after Hurricane
Ivan left its mark, Carriacou is still a beautiful place. For your information,
no one on Carriacou was killed or injured by God's marvelous grace! Many homes
and other buildings were damaged. However, and as they say here, we "thank God
for life." Power and telephone service (and internet service) has been
mostly restored on Carriacou, but they have quite a way to go on the mainland.

Walter, I am a friend of Andrew Berger, Thanks so much for your prayers for
our General Director Otis Goodwin. I am his secretary and Ad min. We have prayed
for you as Andrew brought your special health needs to our attention. May God
Bless you. Mary Knisley
Wow! Thanks for visiting LCM and taking the time to
sign my Visitors' Journal. Andy had mentioned your name in connection with
Brother Goodwin and his need sometime back. Andy's recent note concerning the
miraculous news concerning Brother Goodwin brought a smile to my face and
encouraged me greatly! The saints at Windward Bible Church and I rejoiced
over the news about the Lord's answered prayer concerning his health. We will
keep mentioning his name until he is completely recovered. Please stay in touch
(through e·mail) and keep us posted so that we can pray more effectively. Thanks
again for the 'virtual' visit!
Looking up for Him,
Walter Robinson II

Dear Rev. Robinson: I had the pleasure to meet you in Carricau last week at a

I love this website. I have visited Carriacou only once a few years ago. The
website brings back great memories. I love the lifestyle and wonderful people in
Carriacou. I only wish I can go back again very soon. God bless all.
Thanks for visiting LCM. I am truly glad that you
like our website, and even more glad that you obviously fell in love with
Carriacou, our beautiful island home. If you ever make it back for a visit,
please look me up. I would like to meet you in person.
